I’m still catching up from being in Tobago, but here is a fun engagement session I did with Megan and Coy a few weeks before my trip. We walked all over Fort Worth and got some really great shots!! Here are just a few of my favorites…

Before I left for Tobago, I shot Wes and Michelle’s gorgeous wedding and simply didn’t get a chance to blog about it yet. The ceremony took place at St. Ann’s in Coppell with the reception at the Gleneagles Country Club in Plano! Cuvee provided the reception entertainment and the place was jamming all night long! We all had a fantastic time and I can’t wait to edit the whole wedding soon! Here are a few favorites from the day…
Michelle’s GORGEOUS shoes and dress!

Putting on the dress and a cool reflection!

I love this shot of the flowergirl getting ready while Michelle watches! I also think lip shots are some of my favorite to capture!

A great moment during the ceremony…

The Kiss!

A COOL shot of the guys!

And a FUN one of the girls…

The WHOLE wedding party was so much fun to photograph!

I’m still traveling, but finally got internet access again so I thought I would post a few fun shots from beautiful Tobago as well as from Arias and Adeola’s Nigerian Engagement Party…. I am editing on my laptop, so I apologize for any weird colors, etc…
Here are a few shots from our wonderful Villa in Tobago!

Our own personal Infinity pool as well as colorful flowers everywhere!

Adeola getting ready for the party…

Arias getting ready and goofing off here…

They are representing the groom’s family here as they seek acceptance from the bride’s family…

Arias and his guys show their devotion to the bride’s family…

They played a game with Arias where he had to guess if this was Adeola and the families pray for both Adeola and Arias.

A funny moment during the party…

I’ll be back soon with some more from Tobago including the wedding in the next day or so stay tuned!
Before I left for Tobago, I shot Holly’s bridal session and we really got some really COOL shots!! Here are a few….

I wanted to let everyone know that I am headed off to Trinidad and Tobago today for a very cool destination wedding! I’ll be back in a couple of weeks but will hopefully have email access if you have an urgent matter!
It is my first time to go to Tobago, so I am really excited about checking it out and reporting back to everyone! We will be staying at the two following resorts during the trip, so if anyone has stayed at either one before, feel free to give me the scoop on the best things to do, places to eat, etc….!
Here is what they look like…
Here’s a shot from the Coco Reef Website…

Let me just start off this post by saying that the GIN BLOSSOMS have always been one of my favorite bands! Seriously, my college friends and I knew almost all of their songs back in the 90’s! Well, Alycia’s friend Laura, who also happens to be the bride whose wedding I shot in Maui a couple of months ago, just happens to be the sister of Jesse Valenzuela, one of the main guitarists in the band!!
So, when the band came to Dallas a couple of weeks ago, I asked Laura if there was anyway I could get to meet them. Well, not only did her brother get us tickets to the concert, but he also invited me and Andrew to hang out in the band’s Tour Bus after the show!!! Ahhh the life of a rock band is pretty cool I must tell you!!
The best part is that Jesse gave me a huge hug and told me that the photos I took of his sister’s wedding in Hawaii were some of the most beautiful that he’d EVER seen! And then we talked about all getting together and playing golf when they are in town next as well as me possibly shooting their next CD cover next year!!! How cool is that!!!
Anyway, that was a really fun night and here are some photos as well as a cool little video I made from the front row with my little baby camera of the band performing “Hey Jealousy.” I REALLY wish I had brought my REAL camera!!

We had another FABULOUS wedding a few weeks ago as Amanda and Nick tied the knot at the beautiful Melrose Hotel in Dallas. Jacqueline and her staff at the Melrose made sure that everything went well and I am definitely looking forward to working with her again!
The decor was done by the wonderful Stacey at the Wildflower(I ALWAYS look forward to working with her because I KNOW that I am going to get some cool decor shots!), and the lovely cakes by Panini Bakery. Andy Austin was the DJ and as usual the party rocked on all night!
My staff and I had a blast shooting the wedding as you can see from some of these highlights from the day…

Congratulations again Amanda and Nick!!
I shot Ann and Ray’s engagement session a few weeks ago in Deep Ellum and we had fun walking around and pretty much using all of the surroundings! They are a fun couple and I know that we will get some cool stuff at the bridal session and wedding! Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

OK, I just HAD to make this non-photography related post!
I am sure most of you guys know the INCREDIBLE story of Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers, but if not, you SHOULD!! It really is amazing what he has come back from(Drugs, Multiple Suicide Attempts, Alcohol Addiction(He used to drink 1 bottle of Crown Royal a day!), and even blew through a $4 Million Dollar signing bonus, etc…after his parents and him got into a BAD car accident.
Josh is clean now(Against ALL odds), and is not only just back in baseball, but he is OWNING baseball right now. He has a STAGGERING 89 RBI and 20 Homeruns as of tonight and it’s not even the ALL-Star break yet! Tonight, he hit an incredible Walk-Off Homerun against one of the BEST closers in the game! Check it out!!(I must have jumped up 10 feet in the air as soon as he hit it!!)
The game-winning homerun was sweet as it was against the first place Angels! Josh is having such a great year, he will actually be a starter in the All-Star game next week and he totally deserves it!
Seriously, if you do not know his story, please check out the following Sports Illustrated Article they ran last month as it’s simply AMAZING and something that you usually only see in the movies! He really is one of the nicest guys on the team and you can just tell that everyone is rooting for him to succeed!

The Incredible Story of Josh Hamilton
Keep up the GREAT work Josh and know that we are all pulling for you to stay on the right path that God has you following now!
When I was in Anguilla, I helped Alycia shoot a maternity session. Well, I pretty much stayed out of the way as she is the expert there, but I just had to jump in and take a few shots of my own every now and then! Helen is a FABULOUS wedding coordinator there and when she told me that she would be about 7 months pregnant when we happened to be there shooting a wedding, we thought it would be fun to have a session with her! I’m so glad we did as Alex and Helen are one of my favorite couples now!!
In fact, I just got an email from England saying that baby Ethan was born just a few days ago! So, I figured it would be fun to post a few shots from the session!

Congrats again guys and I can’t wait to come back to Anguilla to see you two again!!
