RINGS TO RATTLES OCTOBER WORKSHOP DETAILS

WOW! I had an awesome time in Portland last weekend!! I want to thank everyone for their wonderful hospitality and helpfulness!! Chelsea’s mom is also a wedding photographer, so NO PRESSURE, right? Seriously, I am always honored when other photographers want me to photograph them and their family. It’s also a lot of fun as photographers UNDERSTAND the need to have quality time in order to create some amazing images. I got to play in Downtown Portland with Curtis and Chelsea for a couple of hours on the wedding day and we REALLY got some cool stuff!

It was also great meeting up with old friends as well as getting to know new ones! I particularly want to thank Candy, Joe, Curtis, Chelsea, Teresa, Bev, Dan and Whitney, Evrim, Jenny, and Fred for making the trip so much fun!!

I am a bit behind on my blog posts since I have been traveling, but I promise to get caught up soon!!! Before I left for Portland, I shot Stephanie and Adam’s gorgeous wedding in Fort Worth! The ceremony was held at the St. Patrick Cathedral and the reception at the BEAUTIFUL Ashton Depot! It was my first time to work with Jordan and her crew at the Ashton Depot, but they were FABULOUS and I can’t wait to work with them again VERY soon! Here are some of the highlights….

I had a chanced to drive around Portland today and thought I would post a few of my adventures.  The big wedding is tomorrow, so I decided to play a bit today and I took my baby camera along for the ride…

I picked up my car from Hertz and was ready to go!

Ok, a bit sappy here, but this is the furthest that Alycia and I have been apart in our whole relationship! Good thing for IChat on our Macbook Pros as it allows me to see and talk to my GORGEOUS girlfriend even though we are on separate coasts!(you gotta love technology!).

Chelsea and Curtis both work for NIKE, so they hooked me up with a special pass to shop at the Nike Employee Store! I had a blast checking everything out and I FULLY took advantage of the 50% off employee discount! Safe to say, I dropped a few hundred dollars on some cool new jerseys and sports wear!

NIKE’S Campus is REALLY cool as all the buildings are named for different NIKE athletes!

I had dinner with my good friends Dan and Whitney of Bliss Studio in Portland and it was a lot of fun catching up with them!(The food was delicious too!) Thanks for the awesome dinner and Impromptu Jam Session you guys!!

I wanted to let everyone know that I am off to shoot Curtis and Chelsea’s wedding in Portland, Oregon and I’m VERY excited!! I have NEVER been there before and they have some really cool ideas for locations to shoot, etc… I’ll be sure to blog from there over the next few days!

I have been blessed to be asked to travel all over to shoot some awesome weddings, so I thought I would blog the spots I have been to in the last year or two! When I get back, I also have a TON of cool new stuff to blog about, so stay tuned!!!
