month: April 2009

Before I left for Anguilla, I shot Jennifer and Jeffrey’s wedding last week.  It was a gorgeous wedding and there were details everywhere!   Both Jennifer and Jeffrey looked amazing and we all had a fabulous time throughout the day.  It was our first time working with Kimberly of Exquisite Soiree and she did a fabulous job with all of the details!

The ceremony took place at Perkin’s Chapel on the SMU campus and the reception took place at the Empire Room.  Fete Des Fleurs as usual out did themselves with the decor as you can see!  It was also great to see our friend Elvis from Elvision again!

Here are a few highlights from our team…

We shot the wonderful wedding of Courtney and Ben last week and had a wonderful time with everyone!  The ceremony took place at the Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth with the reception at the Worthington downtown.  It was also great as I got a chance to work with one of my good friends and AMAZING florist Tami Winn and her A Magic Moment Events Crew!

Courtney and Ben looked stunning and very much in love and we captured some truly wonderful moments!!  Here are just a few of the highlights that Sharon, Jerry, and myself caught…

The Girls…

Since the wedding is over, I thought I’d post a few from Courtney’s bridal session…

OK, storytime… I have this song on my website entitled “Daddy” by Kendall Payne.  Well, Ben decided to surprise Courtney and fly in Kendall from Los Angeles to sing at the wedding!!  Kendall sang “Daddy” right before Courtney and her dad walked down the aisle!!  I swear there wasn’t a dry eye in the church!  So, I put together a little collage…

Kendall was great and we goofed off a bit after the ceremony!  You can check out her amazing voice and songs on her website…www.kendallpayne.com

Before walking down the aisle…

Love the light in this one!

Congratulations again Ben and Courtney!!!  The rest of the photos will be online in a couple of weeks!

I just found out that I was named one of the Knot’s Top Wedding Photographer’s for 2009! That was such a cool surprise as I really had no idea! Here is what the email said…

“We are proud to announce that KJImages Photography has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009 Pick. Please pick up a copy of The Knot Best of Weddings 2009 magazine and check out our listing.”

They even sent me a cool plaque in the mail today!

Thanks to all of the wonderful brides that voted for me as I truly appreciate all of the kind words!
