More to come later from this fabulous wedding….

I have gotten TONS of requests from you guys asking if I could have some sort of mini session so that you can get some cool photos for your Facebook Profiles, Match.com, Myspace, Business Cards, etc….
Well, I decided to join my buddy Darryl Briggs and hold a Facebook Friday this Friday the 30th! We are only going to do 12 appointments and I know it will sell out fast! So, if you want some cool shots for a VERY reduced price, email me at kj@kjimages.com and I will reserve your spot!
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

Last Saturday, I had the chance to photograph Aubrey and Baye’s BEAUTIFUL wedding in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Silo Events Center. The place is a photographers dream! It was also a fun wedding for me as I have known Aubrey’s mother for a while as she is a great professional photographer herself! It is always a bit strange for me photographing other photographers or their families as I know I am being watched like a hawk! LOL! In any case, it is also a lot of fun as they usually give me the opportunity to be super creative!(This was no exception!)
Stefanie and I were assisted by the wonderful Jeremy Gilliam and we all had a great time and got some awesome shots.(Despite the heat. LOL!)
Thanks again to Aubrey and Baye for the opportunity and to all their friends and family who made us feel so welcome!
Here are some highlights from the day…

I just got home from Aubrey and Baye’s great wedding in Tulsa and wanted to post a few sneak preview shots! Look for a full blog post later this week from this wonderful wedding!

This week’s tip will definitely benefit anyone that ever designs albums or makes panoramic prints! I have used the content aware scale tool a few times and it is awesome! I’m sure you guys will get a TON out of this tutorial from AJ! If you want to see more from him, please visit his website as well!
Also, keep the comments and requests coming as this weekly segment is for you guys!
It was fun shooting with Chris and Jessica a few weeks ago as they told me they wanted to have a “picnic” themed engagement session followed by a few cool night shots. I think we got some really fun stuff and I thought I’d share a few with everyone!
Looking for the right spot…

Yes, the dog came along for a few shots…

They love playing Scrabble, so we took a fun shot…

The skies got REALLY dramatic as we were wrapping up the picnic, so I HAD to take a few…

A couple of nighttime ones…

And finally, at a cool yogurt store…

I’m really excited about introducing something new to the blog for all you photographers! I have partnered up with my buddy AJ Wood(An Adobe Certified Instructor) to showcase a Photoshop CS5 Tip of the week segment! I get at least 3 to 4 emails a week from other photographers around the world asking how I do certain things in Photoshop or get certain looks to my images. Well, now you guys will get to see first hand! We will have a new Photoshop/Lightroom video segment EVERY Tuesday, so sign up for my blog to get notified.
This first installment will hopefully help everyone speed up their editing workflow when working in layers! Lots of very cool shortcuts that will help you save time for sure!
Please also post your comments on what other future Photoshop videos you would like to see or if you have any editing questions whatsoever! BTW, the segment next week will consist of a VERY COOL Content Aware Scaling video that NO wedding photographer or album designer will want to miss!
I hope you guys like the new segments! Enjoy!
Sharon and I had a great time photographing Kelly and Kerri’s Rough Creek Lodge Wedding last week! It was my first time to work there and I can honestly say that it is a WONDERFUL venue to hold a wedding! As far as I am concerned, Brenda Weaver and her staff at Rough Creek Lodge are right up there with some of the best venue coordinators that we have worked with! In fact, I cannot wait to work there again!
This was a fun wedding as both families were so friendly that we felt like part of the group! Both Kelly and Kerri looked absolutely amazing and I think just about everything went as perfectly as it possibly could!
I think that next to me, Kelly has one of the coolest jobs ever! He’s a Professional Bass Fisherman!(And I thought I had a lot of Sponsors!) Here is a cool shot of his for those of you who might have seen him on TV on ESPN, etc…(photo by James Overstreet)

Here are a few highlights from the day…
