Last week, my good friend Jeremy and I photographed the wonderful wedding of Heather and Blaine at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas. The ceremony was on the second floor balcony with the reception in the ballroom on the first floor. Bethany and her staff at the Melrose made sure that the whole day went as planned!(I can't wait to work with her again!).
It was good to also work with my good friends Anita Haar(Hair/Makeup) and Lauren Kitchens(the beautiful cakes) as well! It was my first time to work with Jackie Vail of the Wedding Vail and she did a fabulous job!!(Hopefully we can work together again soon!)
Heather and Blaine looked amazing and are truly one of the nicest couples I have ever worked with!! We got a ton of great shots as well, so here are a few highlights...

Last week, I had the chance to photograph Rachel and Justin's GORGEOUS wedding at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas. I especially want to thank Beth Berk of M&M Special Events for overseeing everything and making sure that all went according to plan! I can't wait to work with her again!

Here are a few highlights from the day...
Now that the wedding is over, I can finally share some of Rachel's STUNNING bridal portraits as well!
Congrats again Rachel and Justin!! I should have the whole wedding online in a couple of weeks.
It's funny as I have had my work published in just about every major newspaper and magazine around the country, but I have never had anything appear in Sports Illustrated until this week! It has always been one of my lifelong dreams to get a big image published in the magazine!(I pretty much got into photography after seeing all the great photos in Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.)
When I found out that my image of David Beckham passing the ball in the middle of a torrential downpour made the magazine, I was so excited!! I was blessed to get some images of my feature shoot with Cowboys All-Pro Demarcus Ware published in The Sporting News earlier this year, so I am definitely on cloud nine these days! You can see the behind the scenes of that shoot here.
Anyway, I thought I would share the good news with everyone! Here is the layout on page 50 of this week's issue...
